About Point Man Ministries of Albany
Point Man Ministries of Albany began with my domestic warfare against the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs due to my being denied VA compensation benefits since 1992. I was influenced by Dale R. Munger of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 2002 to get in touch with Point Man Ministries International about my VA claim because he felt that I would be able to minister to veterans that were suffering the same abusive treatment. I was given the opportunity to start an outpost in Albany New York in 2002. I became the outpost leader of Point Man Ministries of Albany. Being led by the Spirit of God, we branched out on our own and became 501c3 qualified on March 31, 2004.
We have been working without a headquarters and yet we’re still able to be there for U.S. Veterans in the Capital Region of Albany in many ways. Point Man Ministries of Albany has been able to refer veterans to other organizations that fit their needs. We are very much concerned with the abuse that U.S. Veterans suffer by being homeless, unemployed, drug addicted and without any income at all. More importantly, the abusive treatment of U.S.Veterans by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which at this present date is suffering a back log of over one million unsettled VA claims.
Point Man Ministries of Albany is going to be able to house veterans and also provide them with employment and drug rehabilitation. We will assist veterans in their fight to get service connected for VA Compensation Benefits and VA Healthcare. It is our goal to be in the fight for veterans rights to become functional human beings in our society. Strictly because it is totally wrong to ask these men and women who are on the front line protecting our borders to be all they can be and yet when their sacrifice is introduced to the physical harm of injury while on active duty, we turn our backs on them by denying them the complete VA benefits they earned.
It is our duty to be a voice for those that cannot speak for themselves because of the much pain they are suffering. No man or woman will be left behind due to a lack of knowledge concerning the VA benefits they’ve earned because of their service to this great country. Point Man Ministries of Albany is our brothers/sisters keeper. So, we want the U.S. Veterans of America to know we love and care for their well being and more importantly, God loves you all. So, please do not ever think God does not love and care for the men and women that sacrificed their lives for others to live. We do not believe in forcing Christ on any, yet we do believe in receiving respect for our faith.
